Last week, ZeptoLab released Cheese Box, the fifteenth box expansion for the hit puzzle game, Cut the Rope. Cheese Box includes 25 brand new levels, featuring a new box design and new challenges.
Included in the walkthrough video below are methods of earning three star scores on levels 1 through 25 of Cheese Box:
The newest expansion adds a dash of challenge with the addition of a disagreeable mouse with only one thing on its mind; snatching up your candy, challenging your timing and pushing your frustration level to an all-new height. The lovable Om Nom might have a new mouse friend, but what we can expect are headaches and rodent-fueled rage.
The new expansion’s boxes are designed to resemble a piece of cheese, with visible holes which have been incorporated into the gameplay. The mouse pops in and out of the cheese holes, closely resembling the classic Whack-a-Mole game, though moves in a specific pattern.
Cheese Box marks the first expansion of the series since the release of Lantern Box in February 2013. Much like Lantern Box and its lantern mechanism, Cheese Box’s mouse allows easier movement of candy from one area of the box to another, though you cannot control the mouse’s movements, so precise timing is absolutely critical.
Since Cut the Rope’s original Apple App Store launch in 2010, there have been 15 expansion boxes and two sequels, 2011′s Cut the Rope: Experiments and 2013′s Cut the Rope: Time Travel. In 2012, Cut the Rope hit 100 million downloads. The Android edition of the game was released in June 2011.
Cut the Rope is loved by both gamers and game critics alike, earning an average score of 9 out of 10 by most major game review sites.
What’s next for Cut the Rope? Each expansion adds new challenge, fresh designs and more fun for Om Nom enthusiasts. Never given Cut the Rope a try? You can purchase the full-version of the game for $0.99 from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
